Doc2Doc Scientific Advisory Board is a group of physician researchers who study the financial realities unique to doctors. Their work educates doctors about their unique financial journey.
Advisors Dr. Wael Saasouh and Peter Palumbo MD/MBA candidate contribute clinical content and research.
The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) is a collective of physicians and clinician-scientists dedicated to advancing research on the financial realities of medical professionals. Through data-driven studies and peer collaboration, the committee explores how factors such as training debt, credit access, and career stage affect physician wellness and professional growth.
Our mission is to produce credible, publishable research that informs the broader medical and academic community, promotes financial literacy within healthcare, and drives evidence-based understanding of physician financial health.
Each member brings clinical expertise and scholarly rigor to projects that examine how economic stress intersects with physician burnout, work satisfaction, and patient care outcomes. The committee’s goal is to create an enduring body of research that empowers physicians to thrive professionally, personally, and financially throughout their careers.
