Michael Johnson is the Founder, Attorney, and CEO of Michael Johnson Legal, a law firm focused on helping physicians better understand, evaluate, and negotiate their employment contracts.
Michael graduated from Tulane Law School in 2014 and founded Michael Johnson Legal in 2019 after practicing in business, insurance, and construction litigation. His work is rooted in helping physicians navigate the legal and business side of medicine with more clarity, confidence, and control over their careers.
Michael is especially passionate about helping physicians push back on the idea that there is only one “right” way to build a successful medical career. He believes better contract education and negotiation can help physicians make career decisions that support their professional goals, personal lives, and long-term well-being.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing tennis, platform tennis, golf, and spending time with his wife and kids.
