As an over 25-year veteran of the product development, structured and education finance industry Mr. Schmidt enabled sustained growth through collaborative leadership and a tenacious approach to solving challenges. Responsible for managing legal affairs, he brings a deep knowledge of compliance, portfolio management, specifically servicing and an emphasis on accountability with both industry peers and clients. Prior to his tenure at Doc2Doc Lending, he has served in the capacity of chief operating officer and general counsel roles leading product development and placement, financing transactions and M&A activities by leading acquisition and divestiture activities.
