You are eligible to apply for a Personal Loan if you meet the following criteria3:

Are a 4th year medical or dental student who has successfully matched into a paid residency program.

Are a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident holding a valid 0-1 or H-1B visa.

Earned an MD, DO, DPM, MBBS, DDS, or DMD degree.

Have a U.S. mailing address

(except for residents of Maine or West Virginia where we don’t currently offer loans).

We’ve designed these loans to provide maximum flexibility to help medical students achieve their goals.

Flexible Payment Options: The choice is yours!

Hybrid Payments: Lower payments in the first half  of the loan (just interest). For the second half of the loan the payments increase (comprised of principal and interest).

Standard Payments: Equal monthly payments for the entire loan (comprised of principal and interest).

Amount: $5,000 – $25,000**

Term: 5 or 7 years

**Loan amount subject to eligibility criteria. Minimum loan amount in MA is $7,000 and the minimum loan amount in NH is $11,000
